About us

I established my business in 1987 and initially worked as a subcontractor for local building firm John Lay and Co. I worked alongside knowledgeable tradesmen and site agents gaining valuable training and experience which then enable me to manange my own works. I started in offering small domestic works and trade subcontracting and studied a Brickwork NVQ and then went on the gain CIOB Site Management certificate and diploma.

I worked as a specialist mason for a large building contractor for 12 years as and when they requested specialist conservation building works.  I was engaged to carry out numerous conservation building projects throughout Hampshire and Sussex. During this time I also managed my own works building extensions and carrying out refurbishments and alterations to all kinds of property throughout Hampshire and Sussex travelling as far as Ireland and South Wales.

 In recent years I have been involved in major conservation projects for Meon Stoke House, a listed Georgian Mansion, an extension to The Square House a 17th Century flint country house and new build extension works to Romsey Rugby Club.
